Does it cost a lot more to have them cut with those rounded edges?

Yeah...it costs about $150 more for a custom cut like that......bummer...

I actually love the middle design out of all of them, the bottom one seems to go a bit overkill on the logo ... you already get the suggestion of the logo in the shape and the black edges, and with the logo on the one side, it just seems unnecessary and busy to have it again on the other, crowding it and throwing off the simple, clean look of the logo.

I do love that logo though, and you've done a great job bringing it into the design, especially with the unique shape (bummer on the extra cutting costs, though) ... I would definitely notice this puppy in a stack of business cards. Nice work!

lol, so I just noticed that on the bottom one, the one side is backwards, so it looks like it's transparent ... very innovative, very cool. I still like the middle design though, lol. The bottom design, though very neat, makes it a bit hard to pick up that tiny detail at a glance (which is usually what business cards are afforded at first), so it would just seem to have a jumble on both sides.

But anyway, I like the second one, you now really really know this, lol, so I'm going to leave you alone.

Thanks, glad you like the middle one because that is the one that I printed! I changed the red color to a more cyan color...red wasn't me.I definitely agree with you on the bottom card....the placement of the logo and information was off. The logo is very centralized, so that's why I (and you) chose the middle one.

Yeah, it was took expensive to buy the die to cut the cards out...so I actually took an X-knife and cut them myself...it was a lot of work but I was watching a movie, so time went by a lot quicker.

Hahaha, you crack me up! I checked out your photography! Really nice work...a lot of nice photographs. Photography is definitely your passion and it shows through work. Nice composition, contrast, and even gives me a sense of strong emotions!

And I'm glad you settled on a design (and of course, booya on picking the one I liked, lol). I'd be interested to see the final card, finished and fantastic, especially if it's turned more blue, which is most definitely my color

Ironically, photography is my hobby, I make my living as a designer (or will, once somebody hires my poor ass). I only started taking pictures when I traveled to Italy and knew I wasn't going to document that trip with some crappy camera ... thus, my dSLR and subsequent photography addiction. But anyway, glad you liked them. (Can you tell that I tend to ramble unnecessarily when commenting? yeah, me too. Whatever, I give permission to stop reading anytime!)
